I recently became a Google convert. I used to be Yahoo-this and Yahoo-that, but when my account got hacked for the third time I decided I needed to change. I am never going back to Yahoo. I love Google. I recently downloaded Chrome– Google’s web browser. You can add apps to your browser that are easily accessible. It’s not the best browser in the world, but its not IE and that’s a plus in my book! I was an on-and-off user of My Fitness Pal to record my food and weight loss. In messing around in the Google store, I…

I entered several scrapbook pages into our county fair, and the Craft and Hobby judge refused to judge them because they were missing “expected elements”. I didn’t put pictures on my scrapbook pages. I am a total glutton for punishment. I decided– while having three year olds at home– that it would be a grand idea to get my graduate degree. More specifically, my Master of Science in Accounting from my alma mater. Holy crap. What the heck was I thinking?! We were able to log in about a week ago to the class that starts tomorrow. Introduction to Research in Accounting. I graduated with 4.0 with my Bachelor of Science. This class– and these text books– make me feel like an idiot! One textbook is a review of the fundamentals of English–…

If you are looking for an awesome place to take your kids– or yourself– and are within driving distance of Rolling Ridge Ranch in Millersburg, Ohio. I highly recommend it. They offer two types of tours– one from your car and one on an open sided wagon. Pay the extra for the wagon ride. The wagons leave approximately every hour and are worth every penny. (And, they are very reasonably priced… so, don’t take that the wrong way.) They also have a petting zoo where you can walk through and pet the various animals, as well as enjoy exotic…

Dear self, You are worth it and you are loved. Don’t be so hard on yourself or give up to easily on your dreams. Yes, it eventually works out to be even better than what you planned, but don’t ever give up the flame in your eye to be a race car driver.Call in sick to school more. Spend more lazy days at home reading books and ordering pizza with your brother. One day, you would give your right arm to be able to lie around and hang out with him. Learn the words to American Pie early on. You’ll…
