Cedar Point Bloggy Con '13

BloggyCon 13 at Cedar Point

This year, BloggyCon 13 was held a Cedar Point.  It was an amazing weekend.  The Hubs went with me sans kids.  We aren’t big roller coaster fans, but we did manage to have a lot of fun.  Next year, BloggyCon 14 will be at Cedar Point again… and we are looking forward to it already!

It was great to see old friends and make new friends, as well as hearing the speakers during each session.  In fact, the Hubs wants a ticket for next year!  I even was a Bloggy Squad Leader this year, for the DIY Bloggy Squad, so that was tons of fun.

IMG_1501We stayed at Hotel Breakers, the first weekend of their Halloweekends.

It was pretty cool– they decorated the entire hotel with Halloween decorations– bats, skeletons, creepy pictures.  Super awesome.

IMG_1467Little known fact:  I played tuba in marching band.

If you have never gone to BloggyCon, I highly recommend it.  This was my second year and I am looking forward to my third.  It is a weekend spent having fun, laughing, and meeting new friends and seeing old ones.  An absolute blast.

Wait a second I believe the sky lift was your idea. I did have a really fun time, been awhile since you and I visited an amusement park. The funnel cake was awesome. Looking forward to going next year.

  2. Makes me sad that you were at the best amusement park for roller coasters and didn’t ride them! Love that place. So many memories, since we went there many times over my growing up years.
Not that this will encourage you to go on a roller coaster ever again, but it was on one of Cedar Point’s roller coasters that the ride had serious problems and got stuck at the top of the first hill. We had to walk down off the ride.

Oh, I keep forgetting to tell you, I LOVE the new look of the blog!
