Match Me If You Can: A Book Review

Whenever I get the opportunity to review a book by Michele Gorman, I get excited.  She is one of those authors who write like they are your best friend and always has a great tale to weave.  Her latest book, Match Me If You Can is no exception.

When relationships don’t work out… sometimes it isn’t you.  It’s him.

Match Me If You Can | Mini Van Dreams

Catherine, Rachel and Sarah are best friends and all are in search of Mr. Right.  Rachel is an architect trying to become as famous as her mom.  Sarah wants to bake and take care of her sister.  Rachel had an office romance that fizzled out.  Sarah doesn’t date.  Catherine is just too busy to find someone.  Catherine owns RecycleLove.com, London’s most popular dating website.  The site’s only catch to join is an ex must sign up too.  When Rachel and Sarah sign up for the dating service, things start to get interesting.

From baking shows, to crazy contractors, to bestest friends that will do anything for each other… this book will have you laughing and chuckling from the beginning.  With a light-hearted look at dating sites, Michele weaves in a poignant story about family, friendship, love, and laughter.  She makes you realize that sometimes what you want isn’t wrapped up in a pretty package with a bow… sometimes it is right in front of you all along.

I highly recommend you check out Match Me If You Can.  You will laugh.  You will snort.  You might be inspired to bake.  And, you might even pee your pants.  At the very least, you will be thankful that you aren’t on the dating scene.

About Michele:

Michele Gorman is the Sunday Times and USA Today bestselling author of several romantic comedies including (one of my favorites), The Curvy Girls Club.  Michele was born and raised in the United States, and has lived in London for 17 years. She loves naps, ice cream, and Richard Curtis films, but avoids spiders and the word “portion.”  She’s my kinda girl.
