On a Plane to the Windy City

As you read this, I will be on a plane to the Windy City – Chicago, Illinois.  Why, you ask?  I have been chosen as a Verizon Moms Voice for the upcoming months.  I am flying to Chicago for a meet and greet, training, and orientation with Verizon Wireless.  How cool is that?  Part of the deal is we will receive a free new wireless device and an unlimited plan for six months in exchange for my honest and unbiased opinions about the device and service.  Never, did I think my blog would become what it has.

I’m leaving, on a jet plane, don’t know when I’ll be back again.  Oh, wait.  Friday.  I have to work.

So, stay tuned for more info.  As soon as I know what the device is (we don’t even know yet!), I will share the details.  I’m hoping its the new Moto-X.  We will see.

But, don’t fret in my absence… the posts are scheduled out (for once)…

Let me leave you with this bit of trivia… Chicago isn’t called the windy city because it is so windy.  There is several theories as to why– including the wind off Lake Michigan– but, the most popular is the theory that that it is from all the hot air from the politicians.  Now you know.
