Wednesday Hodgepodge Vol. 322

Happy Wednesday!  It’s time for Wednesday Hodgepodge.  Hop over and grab the questions on Joyce’s blog, answer them and fall back over to see her and link up with us!  We’d love to have you join in our random question fun!  Ready for this week’s answers?  Let’s go…

1. What’s something you’d rate a 10/10? Tell us why.

I think those new Reese Cups with Reese Pieces in them are a definite 10/10!  Those things are amazing – the best of both worlds.  Peanut butter galore.  Yummy.

2. What job would you be terrible at? What makes you think so?

I would be terrible at anything where I would have to deal with the public on a daily basis.  I cannot stand people who are idiots and have no common sense.  I am not sure I would be able to keep my mouth shut when they made me mouth.

3. When did you last take a fall? What’s something you’re falling for (in a good way) these days?

My last big fall was last year about this time when I fell down the attic stairs bright and early in the morning.  I just stepped off the fourth from the bottom step like I was on a flat surface.  I sprained my toes and knee really bad.  Totally sucked – and just in time to go to World of Outlaw Finals in Charlotte, NC… yeah, that hurt.  Something I am falling for – in a good way – is Spark People.  I love how they have a great, informative healthy-living program – including exercise videos and meal plans – FOR FREE.  If you check it out, make sure you add me as a friend – minivandreams!

4. According to the Travel Channel here are some of America’s best fall festivals-

National Apple Harvest Festival (near Arendtsville PA, close to Gettysburg), Harvest on the Harbor (Portland Maine), German Village Festival (Columbus Ohio), Wellfleet Oyster Fest (Cape Cod), and Wine and Chile Fiesta (Santa Fe NM)

Have you ever been to any of the festivals listed? Which one appeals to you most? Does your hometown have any sort of fall celebration, and if so will you make it a point to attend?

I have never been to any of these festivals – and I literally live 30 minutes from Columbus.  Oops.  I will say – if you head to the German Village Festival, make sure you grab a Bahama Mama at Schmidt’s Sausage Haus.  Of the festivals listed, I would like to visit the Harvest on the Harbor, just so I could drive through New England while the leaves are changing.  Our town has several festivals this time of year – the annual Ohio Fish and Shrimp Festival, the Simon Kenton Chili Cookoff and Hoopla Parade, Boo in the Bog, and Oktoberfest.

5. What is your goodbye message to summer?

See you later alligator.  I love fall.
