Sunday Stealing: December 9, 2018

Happy Sunday!  I have been MIA for awhile trying to get everything situated for Christmas and the New Year.  I am not sure I am any better off, but it was a nice break.  Since it is Sunday, it is time for Sunday Stealing!  Check out my answers to the stolen questions and then head over to visit the Sunday Stealing website for more!

favorite novel and author?

The entire Bellingwood series is my favorite novels right now.  They are by Diane Greenwood Muir and are amazing.  The newest one is coming out December 25th.

favorite perfume/scent?

Anything non-floral.  I love vanilla and sweet, baking-type scents.

coffee or tea?

are you a cat or dog person?

I love both, but right now I am a cat person.

which mythical creature would you transform into if you could?

Hmmmm.  I would have to say a fairy.  It would be fun to fly around and live in the forest.

favorite time period?

The Civil War era.  I would have loved to be alive during that time.  My house would have definitely been a stop on the Underground Railroad.

name 3 films that have changed your life and have shaped you into the person you are today.

I honestly don’t know.  Stand and Deliver would definitely be one of them.  Maybe Heart Like a Wheel.  Not sure of a third.

diamonds or pearls?

Definitely diamonds.

what’s your biggest dream?

To be able to travel the world and not have to worry about the cost.

dream destination?

favorite fictional character?

Lucy Ricardo

share a quote or passage that means something to you.

If there is no wind; row.

do you prefer the forest or the ocean? why?

I always swore I was a mountain and forest kind of girl… until I went to the ocean.  The hot sand, sun, waves crashing on the beach… now I am definitely an ocean-girl.

what do you value most in people?

Honesty.  Too bad it is a hard trait to find these days.
